PODOMOUNT-pFSGS

PODOMOUNT-pFSGS, a Multicentre, Randomised, Double-blind, Parallel Group, Placebo-controlled Trial to Assess the Effects of Oral TRPC6 Inhibitor BI 764198 Taken Over a 104 Week Treatment Period in Adult and Adolescent Participants With Primary Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (pFSGS) or Genetic FSGS Related to TRPC6 Gene Variants

More information: clinicaltrials.gov

Investigational product: BI 764198 (TRPC6 inhibitor)

Population: Patients aged ≥12 years with biopsy-proven primary FSGS or genetic FSGS caused by a TRPC6 mutation, UPCR ≥1500 mg/g and eGFR ≥25 mL/min/1.73 m².

Phase: III

Starting year: 2026

Participating sites: UMC Groningen (actively recruiting), Amsterdam UMC (pending activation)

Referral note: Due to limited recruitment timelines, referral of potentially eligible patients from non-participating centres is encouraged. Patients can be referred to the participating sites for screening and potential inclusion.

PODOMOUNT-Basket
