terms of citations (Scopus). At the same time, clinical research is accompanied by increasingly complex regulations. To maintain and strengthen our leading position, better coordination of logistic processes regarding clinical research is required. A recent EU benchmark and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dcrfonline.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2024\/05\/Nationaal-Actieplan-Klinisch-Onderzoek-2300380_VIG_DCRF_04BS.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">action plan<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(in Dutch) pointed out that networks of researchers are well suited to share knowledge and experience and promote cooperation and acceleration of clinical research.
